Our organic products are manufactured with certified organic cotton. Noted as the most pesticide-dependent crop, cotton accounts for 25% of all pesticide usage. Organic cotton is grown without synthetic fertilizers, harsh chemicals, and pesticides. Our organic products are treated with low impact fiber reactive dye, approved by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Knitted with 30/1 Ring- Spun Combed Jersey, you will still find the softest fabric, but eco-friendly, in the most popular styles today.
Bamboo is 100% naturally grown. Similar to organic cotton it is grown without the assistance of chemicals and toxins, and is 100% biodegradable. Bamboo fabrics are naturally anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and can prevent allergies, irritations, and odors. The fabric is made from the pulp of bamboo grass. Bamboo is 3-4 times more absorbent than cotton and much more durable. Additionally, bamboo garments are very popular for their easy maintenance and comfort. Comparable in quality to silk and cashmere this less expensive textile also possesses the ability to breathe and absorb moisture, thus keeping the wearer warm, dry, and fresh for a longer period of time.
Recycled Polyester/Cotton Blend
Our recycled polyester fabric consists of 65% regenerated cotton and 35% recycled PET polyester (beverage containers). The cotton fibers are recycled from 100% cotton fabric scraps made of ring spun yarn only. The polyester is created from recycled beverage containers. Since the cotton scraps have been piece dyed, dye is not necessary. However, if dye is needed a low-impact dye is used. A few advantages of recycled polyester: save gallons of water, eliminates chemicals and emission of carbon dioxide, and avoids the release of waste.
